Reba, Lorreta, Dolly, Tammy, Crystal, (I could keep going) never won Entertainer of the Year 2 years in a row but Carrie does? Something deeply wrong with that picture.

I swear every single live act sounded flat, tonight. Everybody.
Anyway, a pretty good show for someone who doesn’t care for country at all, well, with few exceptions. At least I got to look at Matthew McConaughey and LL Cool J! lol

Carrie looked gorgeous singing Temporay home. Man that song put Carrie way over the top. Reba looks hotter then ever to me. Nicole kidman looked like death warmed over. Zak Brown are really good IMO.
Just watched the opening of the show clip. Carrie is so-o-o great. She manages to excel at any genre of music and I loved the “rocker chick” in her tonight. She definitely can do rock and roll and I thoroughly enjoyed her gravelly sound and rockin’ out vibe. I guess I JUST LOVE HER. :wub:

This is just a general statement, but WHY do all these singers think they have to hover above the crowd? Pink, Carrie, Taylor. Good grief, just perform on the stage, please!

I’m not a country fan. I just want to know if Carrie wins. Taylor does NOT deserve to be entertainer of the year, she lacks the experience as far as I’m concerned. There are also a lot of people more talented than she.

I totally agree about Reba and those jokes. I do like her and have liked her hosting in the past, but whoever wrote those jokes for her and whoever OKd them made a bad choice. She got quite a few moans and groans rather than laughs.
Also, that up there should be ‘whomever’ I think, but I don’t really care because I think whoever sounds correct enough. :)

I’ve never been a Reba fan, so maybe that clouds my opinion, but I’m just not digging her make-fun-of-people opening monologue. Talking about fried food and saying it sounds like Thanksgiving at Kirstie Alley’s house — just doesn’t seem like it would be Reba’s style of humor. From maybe Larry the Cable Guy it would be funny, but not Reba.
