The wordpress upgrade I wanted to complete is now finished. Now I just have to iron out all the issues created from making such a huge jump in wordpress versions. Bare with me, it will take a couple of days weeks.
Outstanding Issues
* Comments Don’t Appear New On Top
* Gallery Is Down
* Contact Form Is Down
* A Few Of Cosmetic Issues
* Work On Admin Bar
Please notify me in the comments as you locate any issues. Things may go haywire as I am messing with things and I may not realize I screwed something up.
Previous Version : 2.3.3
New Version : 2.8.4
I contracted Blog Installation Service to do the upgrade. Process took about 3 hours with little downtime to the user. Upgrade was successful. Only major issues after upgrade were installing and configuring a new theme as the old one was no longer compatible and finding a gallery update which hasn’t happened yet.
This was the upgrade I was scared of but it was easy and I am happy it is over. Now how is 2.8.4? Terrible. I wish I had stayed where I was. I hate the dashboard and honestly I think the software is slower.

more cosmetic things fixed tonight. a few more little things and then off to see what happened to the gallery.
Hopefully by Monday I am back 100%
Thanks everyone for your support
I do miss the QUOTE thingy.
But I love everything else !
Slim, this looks great, you are amazing!
Is there a new secret place?
@Lee
My comment was in response to Slim’s “crap testing” comments, which are now gone.
Well, “I” thought it was funny Rachel.
So, you’re an expert crap tester. That stinks.
should be fixed now. new comments weren’t showing on page one.

Did you read what I wrote in the shoutbox?
BUT, my comment will only show up if I refresh the page. That’s kind of a pain.
I like the new edit button, Slim. I just tested it out on your comment by making you a crap expert. Hey, most new parents become one within a year, right?
i love testing crap – I’m an expert at it.
testing something one more time

It’s all good here Slim. I really like the new layout better, it’s much easier on the eyes.
@ Teri:
I see that too. It does.
