What a shame he’s going in the dance club direction. While I wasn’t a rabid fan by any means, I actually liked some of his stuff.
It’s hard to judge by clips, but the ones that stood out as having potential to me are: the ones that start at 2:10, 5:27, 6:20, and 6:50. But like I said, I’d need to hear more.
I hate snippets, very hard to judge anything but – rushing into premature judgment – it all sounds very radio friendly, the uptempo songs sound extremely club friendly, and I think he gave too much power to the producers and they are busy looking for hits not talent…but hey the Kris Allen snips I have heard sound like typical AAA and Lite format with nothing really happening and I doubt that is accurate either.
all songs sound amazing but my favourites are music again, soaked, whataya want from me,soaked, fever,if i had you, pick u up and sleepwalker.
i don’t really like sure fire winners
I prefer his slower songs as well. Really only the second to last one was one I would have liked to heard more of. Hard to judge by short clips I guess but nothing else was really grabbing me.
I do hope he does well though. Always loved his voice.
I like the slow songs best which seem to showcase Adam’s voice better. I hope this is a big hit for him as he’s been waiting for it for a long time. His diehard fans will see to that, I’m sure.

@ Balloon Boyhkff@hotmail.com:
thank you for writing all that out :)
I should note that Justin wrote Music Again for him.
Rivers wrote Pick U Up for Weezer but they didn’t want to record it. So he decided to give it to Adam and they re-wrote it.

I stand corrected. You said “interested in”. Ok, hold the presses!! Angie is interested in hearing Adam Lambert. What’s this world coming to???
@ Joyce:
Now, now, now…who said WANT??

Wait. Hold the presses. Angie wants to hear MORE of Adam Lambert??? What is this world coming to???
@ Lee:
And once again, you remind me why I love you, Lee!!
I’ll buy a Whitman’s sampler for my wife instead.

That’s it!! lol

“they all seem really familiar” I thought they all kind of sounded exactly alike!!

None of these are at all what I thought would come from Adam.
I can’t put my finger on it but they all seem really familiar.
The only one I am interested in hearing more of after hearing these clips, is the 2nd to last song.

@ Lexie:
they are all in the one mp3 that I posted. they aren’t individual like I normally do since they are only 30 seconds each.
well where are the samples?
