Loved it, she usually sings better then that, I’m sure some of it was in the name of comedy.

Well I’ll be seeing her and god knows how many other acts at Z-100 Jingle Bell Rocks and will let you know about her live. I will say that every 12-15 year old (both boys and girls) I know who has seen her says she is the best show-woman/performer going. They all talk about the show and they know all the words.

Slim, I agree with you. I have heard her live on talk shows, etc., and I had to wonder to myself what people see in her. I mean, she’s ok, but I don’t even think she’d win American Idol. I’d give her top 8. I watched SNL not expecting much out of her, but out of curiousity knowing they’d do something regarding Kanye. Anyway, I did think this opening monologue song was pretty funny.

hilarious times ten but really aweful singing.

The monologue is so funny I disturbed teh neighbors with my laughing. Yes, I have an incredibly loud laugh. I couldn’t help myself.

    “Kanye West isn’t here.”

    *still rolling* :silly:

She HAS to be pretending she can’t sing, right ?

    @ DJSlim:
I have to say I agree with you on some of the live stuff. Whatever is done that results in the end product on the radio is great, though. And, you would know, I’m sure. Feel better soon.

    @ jalin:

watched the whole “crossroads” show with Taylor and Def Leppard. Awesome show but it did show just how bad Taylor’s voice really is.

Live, Taylor is awful. on recordings not to bad thanks to the wonderful guys on the mixing boards.

Taylor IMO is an average singer and an amazing song writer. song writing will carry her farther in life than trying to actually sing.

Oh, I forgot to mention she’s a great role model for the young ones today (so far, at least).

Thanks, Slim, for posting this. If anyone saw CMT’s “Crossroads” show with Taylor and Def Leppard, I hope they were as impressed as I was with how intelligent and creative this girl is. I love her music and have become a big fan. This SNL monologue was a hoot!

I am not a Taylor Swift fan but that is sure cute.

    @ randomx6:

Plus she’s a little cutie – that don’t hurt none either.

As I noted in the shoutbox, I thought Taylor really rocked the whole show. She was game for anything and I thought it was easily the best show and best host of the season.
