There have been a lot of issues in the past seasons on how I run the comments sections of the blog. There have been complaints that the moderators and myself try to run to clean of a ship around here. Maybe we do, maybe we don’t. I honestly think we all have done a good job with keeping comments under control and most people happy but I would like to try a few changes to start the season on the comment policy of the blog and see what happens.

With the start of the Audition Episodes on 1/12/10 I am asking everyone to be a little more lax with what is posted in the comments section of a blog post as long as it isn’t downright disgusting in all faces of life. We must keep in mind that we all have an opinion and we are allowed to express that opinion. Honestly some of the comments that got deleted or some of the conversations that were removed in previous seasons didn’t offend me, but did others.

* No Spam. You Will Be Banned Immediately
* On Topic Links To Your Blog/Site Or Other Sites Are Permitted
* Off Topic Links And Comments Must Be Posted In Forum Or Shoutbox
* We All Have Our Own Opinion And We Need To Respect Others
* Comment in a mature and sensible way as to not offend others
* Profanity is allowed as long as it is not directed at anyone on the blog
* I reserve the right to delete or move any comment left on the blog
* Bashing other members will not be tolerated
* Don’t feed fuel to the fire if someone says something off color
* If someone says something about a contestant that you don’t like, don’t take it personally.
* I do still reserve the right to ban anyone

Basically the bottom line is we all need to relax, this is just a blog. Enjoy it and have fun.
