Where did my comment go?
It was probably deleted by myself or a moderator for containing vulgar language or something that wasn’t meant for the blog. All comments are in fact read and inappropriate ones are removed. If you continue to leave inappropriate comments you will be banned
Why didn’t my comment post?
Probably because you posted a link in it and the blog figured it was Spam. It didn’t get deleted. It just didn’t post. I check the Spam folder a few times a day and I promise I will approve the comment as soon as I can. You can always try to re post the comment but know it will probably still get spammed if you leave the same link in the comment till I approve the original one.
Are my login and password the same for the blog and shoutbox?
No they are not. If you register a name on the blog you still have to register on the shoutbox if you want to make sure no one uses your name. Registration is not necessary for the blog or the shoutbox except that it makes commenting much easier.
How do I get a custom photo in the comments?
Signup for a free gravatar by Click Here. Use the same email address on the gravatar site as you use to post comments on the idol blog. Upload your photo and await it’s approval. Voila, you have a custom photo next to your comments.
Did you ever get a “Cease and Desist” letter from American Idol?
I sure did. During Season 5. I was almost forced to shut the blog down.
Who has crashed your server?
Shyamali Malakar and her hooters pic thanks to Howard Stern and all the users during the Finale of season 5.
Why can’t you tell me who went home as soon as the show starts?
Do you watch American Idol? Do they ever tell you who went home right at the start of the show? No they don’t. Just because we see it earlier on the East Coast doesn’t mean we see a different episode. We see the same thing just earlier and the results aren’t announced till the end of the show.

Who is in charge around here?
Of course myself. My username is DJSlim. My moderators are also in charge. They are Joyce, angie, ABB, TLR, Dr. Electro, Rachel, DrillerAA and Alan Attebery. The moderators have the ability to remove or censor any comment and I have the ability to ban you from the blog and I will if you can’t be decent with your comments.
Who hosts the blog?
My blog is proudly hosted by iMountain.com. The blog is run on large server cluster consisting of 5 shared servers and 1 dedicated server (Opteron 280 Quad Core (8Ghz Total) 10GB RAM). Caching is provided by WP-Supercache, Memcache and APC.
Who pays for all of this?
