And….this is a perfect example of what is wrong with theme nights. Had Alexis been allowed to sing this type of song all the way through the competition, she would be a front runner and not an already gone.

I’m not crazy about the knobby knees outfit, but the voice is outstanding. She really needs to hook up with someone that can take her to the next level.
Alexis Grace may discover someday, that being the 11th place finisher on AI was the best thing that ever happened to her. No tour, no 91E album going into the tank, just the opportunity to make good connections in the music industry and the freedom to record what she does best.

I am happy that even though she was jiffed others are giving her exposure. She is really good and would have gotten even better after all the training and voice coaching they get as they go along. I hope someone picks her up.

I don’t think she had a chance to work with the shows piano player. He knew her key but they were unable to keep the timing. She was trying to get his rhythm and visa versa. But I was proud to see Regis and Kelly take up for her like they did. :smile:
