David Archuleta has signed with Jive records according to their website.
It was announced today that American Idol sensation David Archuleta has signed to 19 Recordings/Jive Records. Archuleta is currently gearing up for the upcoming American Idol tour which kicks off on July 1st in Glendale, AZ. The 17-year old is expected to release his debut album later this year.
Wonder when the album will hit. Cook’s will drop sometime in September.
He should have been the idol, I will be ALL of his recordings in a heartbeat

I was so happy to hear this. David mentioned this on the Larry King Live show, but was somewhat vague. So I’m glad it is true.

Most of all, I hope he doesn’t lose his “innocence”, for lack of a better word. He’s a little shy and probably naive, and I hope the big bad world of fame doesn’t spoil that.
