The contestants of season 2 were very clear about the results being rigged, no evidence they just jam the phone lines and no one ever knows….

What!!? Professional wrasslin’ is fake!!? You’re kidding me! When did this start. I always thought it as for real, even the fact that there seems to be a camera around during the most private conversations between the bad guys when they plot to beat the good guys. Well, that does it, I’m never watching wrasslin’ again. Now what am I supposed to do with all of my WWE memorabilia? I’ve got stuff clear back to Nature Boy Rick Flare.

I don’t believe that Matt was actually 2nd from bottom when Dial Idol had Allison, Megan, Scott, Michael and Anoop showing less votes.The history of Dial Idol is 97% accuracy, and it predicted the winner correctly every year.
Its a scam to make people call, the more calls that come in the more money they sell their commercial time for.

Ratings for what? The NEXT show??? It can’t affect the ratings for the current show since the bottom 3 aren’t known until after the show starts.
The insular community of IBL may be completely off base in rating general popular appeal. I don’t believe the demographics here in any way, shape or form represent a cross section of the AI voting populace. The general consensus of America may very well be about Matt – “Been there, done that – bought the t-shirt”. At the height of last night’s show there were 500 people here (according to the “Dashboard” at the bottom of the page) and only a dozen or so post – to extrapolate the IBL posts into a nationwide trend isn’t statistically valid……

Ah C_B but if you leave here and visit other countries on the alternate AI worlds you will see pretty universal astonishment at Matt being bottom 3 and especially being bottom 2 which Ryan DID say he was. Immaterial – it’s still a subset of idol fans. I would venture to guess that those who frequent the various idol-centric sites are a small portion of idol watchers and – more specifically – voters. I’ve been told more than once – “You know too much about AI”.
Remember the famous headline “Dewey defeats Truman”? Do you know why the poll was so wrong? It was a poll taken by telephone, and telephones weren’t universal at that point in time due to their expense. The initial sample was flawed.
