Julian’s Body Found

Post Will Be Updated With New Info As It Becomes Available

CHICAGO – A body found in an SUV is that of Jennifer Hudson’s missing 7-year-old nephew, the focus of a desperate search since the Oscar winner’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their home three days earlier, police said Monday.

Chicago police said the body of a black male child was found shortly after 7 a.m. in the rear seat of an SUV. It was later confirmed to be that of Julian King.

The SUV was found parked on the street in a neighborhood of brownstone homes and apartment buildings, and matched the one sought in an Amber Alert issued after Hudson’s mother and brother were found slain Friday, police Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said.

HA I knew it! They basically (Carrie) gave her the kiss of death…not in a good way. She’ll be leaving tomrrow you just watch
Justin, maybe putting this under “caption this” or under any of the DWTS threads would be a bit more tasteful than under this post. Glad you are posting your thoughts on DWTS, this just isn’t a good thread for that.
Yes I realize that….but no one was looking at those posts anymore it was all here and there was no separate post. and i did mention that..

Absolute tragic turn of events. I just cannot understand how someone can kill a child. Every time I think of it, I get tears in my eyes and I hug my son even more. They need to find Balfour and make him pay for what he has done. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family.

I just hate this!!! I haven’t commented on this because my heart just aches for the family. I don’t guess I will ever understand the senseless murder of a child.

  7.
Well while I realize this has nothing to do with Jennifer and the case, I just had to post it since I’ve been thinking about it. It has to do with the show tonight DWTS….. I have this theory that Cloris actually will leave tomorrow night. It ties w/ American Idol. Both Kristy and Sanjaya, both of whom were considered Idol annoyances of the season, both came in 7th (before I make a fool of myself we are now in the top 7 couples right?) also people have started to complain about her being in the competition, usually when people start complaining that are on the show, you see them out the next minute. Also Cloris wasn’t in the bottom 2 last week, so people may assume she is more safe than when she was in the bottom 2 and not vote as much. Just a thought.

  8. MJ’s blog says that Jennifer will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight……………. I mean I would think as anyone else would that it’s taped, but is it, anyone know? is it live?

  9.
It was the suspects own stepchild, I just can”t see how or why he would kill or have this child killed other then he wanted to try and save his own skin. If he took the little boy from the crime scene and did this, it was premedetated murder. The killer should pay with their life. Yes I believe and am a supporter of capital punishment, especially now with D N A. I also am convinced that if they broadcast live coverage of convicted childkillers being electrocuted it would save the lives of countless innocent children. I would gladly pull the switch for free. I know it makes me and others like me unpopular. But I think it would be an effective deturrent. Of course it will never happen in our country, thats why our murder rate is astronomical.
This is heartbreaking, I had so hoped they would find Julian unharmed and I know we all had hope.
I am in agreement with you on the capital punishment issue.

    Totally agree Doc

The only thing I am sure of is that I do not want to be brought down to the killer’s level and be responsible for the premeditated killing of another human being. In war, okay. If I see someone being attacked, okay. On a gurney or a gallows? No. Murder is murder.
What you wrote makes perfect sense. That kind of thinking is my ultimate deterrent. However, I am perfectly willing to declare war on child killers. They have no right to snuff out our future. The lives of children are more precious than any other lives, in my opinion. It makes me no difference who the child is or who might be in his or her lineage.
So now my question is…………….was it that Balfour guy? Isn’t that Julian’s father? So he killed his own son?
He is the son of Jennifer Hudson’s sister, Julia Hudson. William Balfour, who is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson is being held in state custody on a parole violation. Balfour is not the boy’s father and has not been charged in the slayings. So far.
Records from the Corrections Department show Balfour is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

So sad. I hope when they catch whoever did this gets the death penalty.
Let me have them. They won’t die easily and I won’t show any mercy at all. Child killers are the lowest form of vermin on Earth.
Exactly. If more killers knew that they would pay with their own life if they plan to kill someone, just maybe they might think twice about it.
    No second chances .

  17. So is it her nephew? Must be…
What is wrong with people? I know a killing.. just like any other day or time. But when you really think about it, how can people sink so low?

  21. Why why why must the psychos harm children? This just makes me so mad and so sad.

It takes someone with a cold heart to kill a child. I really hope they catch whoever did this real soon. How tragic and so sad.
