The End Of Combat

The prime time TV schedule is being bumped this evening for our wonderful president. I guess combat in Iraq is over and Mr. Obama would like the world to know. If it’s over then bring the troops home tomorrow. No one else should have to die if the fighting has ended.

Barack Obama will be sworn into office today as the first African American President

[note]The oath of office will be administered on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. Security checkpoints will open for the Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony at 8 a.m. Ticketed guests are advised to arrive by 9 a.m. Ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. Following the oath of office, the President will give his inaugural address, setting out his vision for America and goals for the nation. After the Inauguration ceremonies, the President and the Vice-President will attend an inaugural luncheon in the Capitol’s Statuary Hall.[/note]
