Rumors are abound that David Cook is dating SYTCD star Lacey Schwimmer. The romance has said to have blossomed after meeting last week during the Idol Gives Back special.
Sources have stated that David has been missing curfew and has been sneaking out during the day to meet with Lacey. Lacey is “falling hard” for the rocker and that she’s been in the audience at the Idol tapings for the last two weeks and even goes back stage to see David.
A mole says that Lacey had never watched Idol before she met David, but after the rehearsal she went home and downloaded all his performances. “She liked him even more after she realized he’s so talented,” an OK! Magazine source said.

I love David Cook… I think he’s a greattalent. I am 34 and haven’t had a celeb crush since I was 12 But this guy makes me CRAZY!!!! LOl I wish him well I also love SYTUCD.. Oh well, Ti think He could”ve been mine….lol.. Hope his brother wins the battle.. It was soo sad to see him cry on Finale night. Best of LUck to the both of them!

Lacey is such a schmuck. She is just using David because of all the attention he is getting lately. Heck if David were smart he would persue his career now that he he won Idol and forget about the women for a while. He is young and can find so much better than her. He has lots of work ahead of him getting his first cd out and leaves no time for women. I think David is very talented and needs to take things one day at a time. This is abut as bad a job of putting two people together through the magic of PhotoShop as I have ever seen.
I take OK with a whole shaker of salt. They just randomly throw stuff together in the hopes of occasionally getting things right. But that woiuld be cool if they were together as long as he pays attention to what he’s supposed to be doing.
She’s not that old, she’s younger than she is. I read somewhere that she’s 20 or 21 and he’s 25.

IF it is true, hopefully, the romance won’t stop him from putting his best foot forward during the performances. Just like in professional sports, romance and performing at your best do not mix
