I am afraid it’s going to be David Hernandez and Michael Johns to go tonight…. They are two of my top 4 guys… and if this is the case I will NOT watch the show anymore as they continue to put through the worst couple of guys and gals… I just have a hunch based on iTunes not having Hernandez & Johns’ performances from Tuesday… This happened last week with Robbie and Jason… Also, Dialidol has them in the bottom three… ITS NOT LOOKING GOOD!
Luke was an idiot to choose that song (oops, sounding like Simon now). But seriously, WHAM??? He’s toast tonight.

I simply think Danny was given the time to build popularity that David H wasn’t.
Luke no question, David H will probably be a yes, sadly. Maybe Chikeze…
I think Danny’s continued success is less a result of VFTW and more that America has gotten smarter than Idol. There are a lot of people this season that are unique enough to stand out in the crowded pop space. As previous winners have shown, just because you are good at singing other people’s music does not me your own would stand out.
I think that is why contestants like Danny and Amanda have done so well.

I don’t think Danny deserves your comments, Pat. He’s still a person and as long as he doesn’t hurt or abuse others, he deserves to be respected just like everyone else.
I love David H and don’t want to see him go! If the voters are HONEST about their votes, then we would be seeing Danny and Luke packing their bags tomorrow night.
If Danny is representative of the typical male in the upcoming generation – this whole damn country of ours is in trouble. What a wuss. My 13 year old neice could kick his butt. I’m going to be cheering and laughing my butt off on Thursday night if Danny goes home.

David H was really good last night. These scandals are awful, it doesn’t make him a bad guy. The guys were pretty darn good last night for the most part. I vote for Luke and Danny to go home. Danny is a waste of airspace IMHO ..

It’s a shame David Hernandez is polling so poorly, because he actually has a decent voice. It just proves that the voting public is fickle and that one’s popularity can override a poor performance.
Hopefully Cheezy and Danny get booted, but in reality it looks they will be safe and all the remaining boys will be vunerable (except for David Cook and David Archuleta). The boys have been very mediocre this season. Wouldn’t buy any of their records at this stage. :em72:
But it does seem certain that Luke is going. I’d be willing to bet that he’s the first guy to get the boot on results night. The second guy will be more of a question – I’m going to make a wild guess and say that they make Micheal and Chickeze stand together. If it is Michael and David H I will be crushed :(
Well, last week DialIdol had Jason Yeager in the #2 spot and he was booted off. The spread between Jason and Luke this week is even smaller than the spread of last week, so really any of the 7 are fair game. Make your poll selections with your guts, folks!
I really hope that David Hernandez doesn’t actually get kicked off! He’s really good! I wonder if it’s all this news about him that could be affecting it. It would be sad to see him go and still have Luke, Danny and Chikeze there. Oh well, these things happen I guess.
