High School Musical is set to hit the reality TV scene. Premiering July 20th on ABC the shows winner will appear in a music video shown in the end credits of the feature film, Disney’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” opening this fall.
About The Show
Hosted by Nick Lachey, the television series debuts on ABC on Sunday, July 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) and runs Sundays and Mondays (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) for three weeks, then continues Mondays at 8:00 p.m., ET through mid-September. During the series, finalists will ultimately participate in a summer music program to hone their skills, and one talented newcomer will become a part of “High School Musical” history.
This summer’s reality show, Disney’s “High School Musical: Get in the Picture”, will award one prize winner the chance of a lifetime — he or she will literally “get in the picture” when that person appears in a music video shown in the end credits of the feature film, Disney’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” opening this fall.
Of course this is yet another show I will be covering on the blog. Anyone plan on watching? Leave your thoughts in a comment.

Thankfully, I have 4 yr olds who don’t even know what that means, and 9 yr olds who are “too old” for that. Yes, I know… many 8,9,10.. up to probably 12 yr olds like it, but these 9 yr olds (1 boy, 1 girl) never got into it in the first place. My point is… I don’t have to watch it and hear about it ad nauseum.
My 6 year old will LOVE this show! Yep, we’ll be watching it in our house.
I plan on watching this. It looks like it could be some fun!
