Idol Radio Show (2/11/09)

Here is the Idol Radio Show hosted by Sir Darryl and Alan Attebery from last night.

[note]This week, Sir Darryl and Alan talk about the last day of Hollywood Week and the reveal of the Top 36. Angered by the fact that Nick Mitchell has made the Top 36, Alan tries to change the format of the show to Needlepoint with Darryl and Alan, which Darryl doesn’t allow to happen. When asked why he’s so upset, Alan launches into what ends up being an hour long gripe about Nick and Tatiana, with a little Nathaniel Marshal thrown in.[/note]

The Idol Radio Show will be broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday night at 11PM EST.

And did you notice that Darryl didn’t try to call him Simon Cowell this time? I think Darryl finally sees things my way.

I am soooo glad that both Matt and the oil rigger made it into the competition. It’ll be as good as having the two Davids back again…you’ll see!

I’d just like to say that when the two blonde ladies, one named Christine and the other who originally appeared with her husband, had to compete against each other for a position on Season 8 that I believe they picked the right candidate for she was the better singer and changing her appearance is a variable that CAN be changed.

I could be wrong, but I’m thinking a bad grade on VFTW is a good grade for the contestant. I think an F- means he’ll NEVER be their candidate to be voted for. Someone getting an A+ would be the perfect candidate for them to push as “the worst”. Maybe ??
Joyce is ABSOLUTELY correct. an F- means they are way too good to be on their list!
I understood the idea of VFTW’s grading system, but still they are choosing a candidate to VOTE for (even if it’s a “screw the good singers” kind of thing). So, in my mind (I admit, it’s totally warped anyway), picking Tbrat means they are embracing their own psychotic corners of rubber rooms. And thus, not embracing their Gokeyness.

How insulting. He should make up for it by sending you roses and chocolates. At the very least. Or a shoutout to your blog (if only you had one).

  10. (I commented this elsewhere before this post was put up.)

I want to thank Darryl for the huge shout out on his radio show tonight (or last night, depending on your whereabouts). But really, it was tongue-in-cheek when I commented that I’d never be “famous” due to the radio show coming on at the same time as Idol in my time zone. I didn’t have a huge need to be mentioned, but thanks all the same. You said some nice things, and I appreciate it.

To quote the first part of your comment, however, “UNFORTUNATELY, Joyce lives on the West Coast ….” I do get what you meant, but I have to give you a bad time about it nonetheless. I feel privileged to have lived on the West Coast for over 45 years.

Ok, one last thing. Thanks for sending traffic to my blog which I haven’t updated since Christmas!!! LOL.

    Thanks again, Darryl. You rock.

Gee – my heart’s bleeding for you – if I had feelings they’d be hurt.
