My favorite performance on the absolutely awful new Paula Abdul show “Live To Dance” last night was Jill and Jacob. Ok not so much Jacob but Jill is mighty fine. To bad they dance contemporary. Ditch it and move to Hip-Hop.

@ Dr. Electro: remember paula swears she has never been drunk.
@ DrillerAA: i almost wonder if it make it through season 1. CBS tends to pull more shows mid season than other networks (I think)
@ Dr. Electro:
The most original thing about the show is the “blow-up” dome they are using for the auditions. Down side to it is that all of the set just looks cheesy cheap. This show will not see it’s 10th anniversary season. It may not see a season 2.
Everything about this show is a pale imitation of something else that other people have already done. If it had been any smarmier I would have slid out of my chair! At least Paula seemed to be sober for most of it.
Paula has never had an original thought. Live to Dance is proof.
I can’t watch men dancing contemporary (it’s just too “happy” for me, sorry) and I hate watching MOST women dance hiphop.
But these two together were great.
How about the two little kids doing ballroom? Not quite Jackie Evancho, but great anyway.
Strange how many of the reviews online have slammed the show, but many of the comments seem to support it.
SYTYCD isn’t a regular show for me and this won’t be either.
