My laptop crashed last night at 7:30PM. I attempted all night to restore the software with no luck. This morning I had to do a full system restore and I lost everything. I will be days getting things set back up and this weekend isn’t looking too good. Updates will be limited over the next couple of days as I get my laptop set back up.
This may be a little late but this is supposed to be a top of the line vista data recovery program

One time I was very bored so I decided to play family feud online and it take up the entire screen so once it did it became unresponsive so I had to hold down the button on the computer til it shut off – in other words, improper shut down. When I turned it back on of course it would not let me log on so I had to do the system restore thing. It’s such a pain. It’s only happened to me 2 or 3 times really but you lose like most programs you download.. and all the files that go with it. Ridiculous

You can get some very good data recovery programs, just don’t overwrite the hard drive till you restore, you’ll be surprised how much you can restore yourself without paying a pro $$$$$$
