 Dear NIck, How wonderful to see you perfoming. I remember those days in middle school when you entertained so many of us. I still believe, as I did then, that I will see you on Broadway someday!! You are a natural and deserve the best life has to offer. All your former middle school teachers are watching and cheering you on. We all love you.
I love him !!!!! He is great ! He makes me smile, laugh, and he’s not bad on the ears. Keep it up “Norman” I’ll vote and campaign for you every week. Rock it out and be Norman Gentle !
Nick – I am so proud of you!! I was blown away when I saw you the first night. I called Mysti and she started screaming with joy. I am so glad you are out there in the public eye! There is a contract coming your way from some significant place…soon… I just know it! See you at karaoke!!
XOXO M~
Hey all: Nick has asked me to give a shout out to all of you and thanks for the support! He is working hard and is overwhelmed with everything. As for his shirt, well it was purchased from a men’s store – watch out – he may start his own line of clothing. Keep watching the show and again Nick sends his love.
Nick…a long way from your 9 year old Richard Marx imitations… (ok, maybe not THAT far off)….if you read this contact me…
Too funny – this is gonna lead to something else – just watch.
Love ya, Muskrat….
Doug S. – Is that you? If so, it’s Melissa D. (now P, since I’m married), a former Muskrat as well! Remember that time we got kicked out of McDonald’s for huffing helium? My Mom, Donna, says hi!
All of the Brookfielders have a Facebook group for Nick (it’s crazy how many of us there are so far, over 500), you should come over and join!
Wow, there must be something wrong with me because this guy got on my last nerve. His singing was NOT worthy of being put through to Hollywood.
Well then there must be something wrong with me too. I thought many were sent packing that were better then he was. What really got me was on his second chance, he chose amazing grace, come on who cant sing that song? Very few note changes, anyone that can carry a tune can ace it. He was even starting to screw that up when Simon stopped him.
Not sure what Simon saw, even less sure that I want to find out.

Nick–if you read this, Michael Maze from KC 101 wants you to contact him to have you on the show. email him at to set up a time to interview you.

Nick Mitchell may not have a chance in hell at winning American Idol, but you do have to admit that he is overflowing with talent. That was the most entertaining audition ever recorded on American Idol! I am a true Nick Mitchell (aka Norman Gentle) fan!!!!! Nick, you rock!!!
 I know Nick, for what he was trying to accomplish, he nailed it, Funny/Entertaining, The Judges always say to be yourself, well that is him Funny/Entertaining and a good voice…. Way to go Nick…..
