Here is where I will sticky all of the current Season 10 OFFICIAL American Idol Announcements. I will keep this post updated with all the most recent OFFICIAL information only, no rumors.

  • Ellen DeGeneres has left the show due to other projects.
  • Nigel Lythgoe will be joining executive producers Cecile Frot-Coutaz, Ken Warwick and creator Simon Fuller on behalf of CKx, which shares rights to the show with FremantleMedia North America.
  • Randy Jackson will be returning to the judges panel
  • Kara Dioguardi was fired as American Idol judge

    @ starshine0810: Only the initial stadium auditions plus producer call-back auditions have been done so far. The judges part of the auditions won’t be filmed until next month.

    So,,who is judging the auditions?? I’m confused. Haven’t they started?
