‘America’s Got Talent’ S7 – Auditions, part 2 (Live Blogging)

America's Got Talent

The Season 7 auditions of America’s Got Talent continues tonight as Howard Stern, Sharon Osborne, and Howie Mandel look for the act worthy of winning a $1 million Las Vegas contract. Will the eventual winner come from this audition city? Better yet, has Howard Stern convinced you that he is the right person for the job or are you ready to ship him back to satellite radio?

IdolBlogLive.com does not actively follow America’s Got Talent at this time, though occasionally we may post an audio or video clip from the show if a performance or contestant catches our eyes. ‘America’s Got Talent’ S7 – Auditions, part 1 (Live Blogging)

America's Got Talent

Welcome to Season 7 of NBC’s popular summer competition series, America’s Got Talent. In case you’ve had your head buried in the sand since last December, radio shock jock Howard Stern replaces the oh-so British Piers Morgan this season as a judge, who joins a returning Sharon Osborne, Howie Mandel, and Nick Cannon. The show is starting earlier this year in order to compensate for the network carrying the Summer Olympics later this summer. And America’s Got Talent will air on Mondays and Tuesdays this year.

Who Will Go Home (Top 3 Pre-Performance)?

One of the fun things we do around here is put up a poll each week before you get to hear the performances and ask who you think will go home. We close the poll just before the show airs on the East Coast Feed and then put up a new poll right after the performances and see how it changes.

So here is the pre-performance poll for the Top 3. Simply leave who you think will go home on Thursday night in the poll below and your thoughts in a comment

Poll and Post Will Close @7:30PM On 5/16/12

American Idol 11 Top 3 Theme

The Top 4 sang last week and now they sing again. The theme was just picked and the Top 3 will take on a 3 songs each.

  • Jimmy’s Choice
  • Judge’s Choice
  • Contestants Choice

Here is where we have a little fun. Simply leave a comment with what you think each of the contestants should sing.

With only two performance shows left in the season, tune in next week, Wednesday, May 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), when the Top Three return to their hometowns and find out what songs the judges and Jimmy Iovine have chosen for them to perform. Each finalist will sing three songs: “Judges’ Choice”; “Jimmy’s Choice”; and “Their Choice.”
