Paula Abdul will join the cast of Dancing With the Stars next season according to online reports.
“American Idol judge Paula Abdul is joining Dancing with the Stars next season – as a contestant! “Paula is very excited to be on board,” a source close to Paula exclusively told RADAR. The 46-year old pop singer is reportedly uncertain about her future with American Idol after an obsessed fan committed suicide in front of her home, and Paula has been publicly “shopping around” for another prime time TV project. Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars begins in March.”
Whether this is true or not, the outcome will be interesting. I think a lot of Idol fans will follow her to Dancing With the Stars and it should help the ratings. What do you think? Leave a comment.

I think it will be great for dwts. We need to see someone who can dance from the entertainment field. I personally think she will be awesome.
She had fabulous moves before. As long as her back holds out, I’ll bet she’d be great on DWTS.
I think she will do great if she joins DWTS. My money would be on her to win it all if she does. We shall see if it happens or not.

I had heard, even during AI last season, that Paula was interested in doing DWTS. Sometimes things like this leak just to test fan reaction. If it causes excitement among the viewing public, the deal gets done, if no one seems to care, it may not happen. Personally, my money is on it happening. Paula is a good fit for DWTS. Pair her with Derek Hough and the could again be the team to beat.

Paula would be a definite booster rating for DWTS, I”ll be watching as will many AI fans. She stands a great chance of winning if she still has her old moves. Shes a better dancer then singer for sure. I :heart: it.
