I agree with the original post. Jordin has the voice, look and personality. Melinda is very polished and excellent but seems falsely modest and doesn’t translate personality in a way that will be as popular. I too agree she will definitely have a great career. LaKisha is too confident, was a copycat and doesnt take advise. Too soon to be a Diva, LaKisha! Blake is talented and unique but I don’t like him. Not my taste at all.

Lakisha will be gone this week then blake then I have no idea it depends on how good Melinda and Jordin do those weeks i cant predict the future but im a youngin so i want Jordin to win because she has the potential but then again Melinda has the experience so i have no idea

As I’ve said before, all in all, the only CD I would buy afterwards would be Blake’s, as he’s the most interesting one, and that’s the kind of music I’m into. However, if he wins after all, the result might be a crappy CD American-Idol style, and he won’t get to choose what he wants, so I hope he doesn’t win. Jordin would be a great winner, and I’d probably want her CD after all. I’d deffinitely not buy one by Melinda or Lakisha (and I think they’d be directed to a very reduced market, as opposed to a wider market for one by Jordin or Blake)… Guess people should take that in consideration, unlike what happened last year — although Taylor is a good singer and all, he’s not able to reach a wider market and he won’t do much in the long run, while I see Katherine becoming a long-standing pop star… Only time will tell.

I think Angie and Joyce are correct in the final outcome.
However, if Blake has been saving the best for last and is willing to pull out all of the stops these last couple of weeks, he may be the real sleeper in this thing. “You Give Love a Bad Name” really woke some people up and I think put them on the Blake bandwagon. I’ve always thought he was the most original and creative contestant, but I don’t know if he can overcome the Dolittle Express.

Don’t get me wrong, I think they all have talent, I just think that Blake has that “it factor” :em45: Melinda far out sings everyone, Jordin is as cute as a button with a beautiful voice (too much vibrato for my taste) Lakisha has talent but sounds to gospel, Blake is a surprise each week.

This is really a fools folly this year. It’s all going to depend on how Jordin sings. Some weeks she sucks the big one-and others she will blow the roof off. If she blows the roof off-she could end up winning. If she keeps up like the last few weeks-she will end up in third place.
Melinda-SHOULD win. She is the most talented. But her song choices have been crappy since the top ten. If she doesn’t show her voice off more-she’s going to be in third place.

In my opinion, if talent is what American Idol is all about the clear winner should MELINDA followed by Blake, Lakisha and Jordin in that order. I think I know why many people want to see Jordin wins and its not really about her voice! She sings terribly last week and in my opinion she should have been voted out weeks earlier if solely based on performance alone. However, knowing that the entertainment world does take into consideration one’s look, she may yet have a chance to win this competition. I have always got my own prediction right on the contestant to win; except that for Chris Daughtry. Anyway, bottom line is, no matter who wins the American Idol, whose CD is it that one buys eventually?
