Just wanna say I LOVE THIS KID! Jason remained true to himself to the very end, and I love him for it. So, AI & America, y’all can have your Boy Wonder vs Cookie Cutter finale (Syesha, honey, riots or no, you are toast next week cuz da PTB do NOT want you to win), but Jason Castro will be the Chris Daughtry of folk music. In two years, no one will remember who won Season 7, but the name of the Daydreamin’ Boy will be on every chart and up in lights…….never forget, finishing in 4th place is the best possible outcome for singer/songwriters liek Jason. If you doubt it, just google DAUGHTRY, in case you’ve been living under a rock since Season 5. Jason, ya had me at HALLELUJAH, Dawlin’ and I love ya!

I personally think Jason just…acted like Jason last night. He seemed the same last night as every other time when he was safe. That’s what I love about him. He didn’t take himself too seriously. Or at least it didnt’ show.

100% correct America. Even Jason knew it. His fans might be unhappy, but Jason appeared to be thrilled at the choice. It’s understandable that his fans are sad but isn’t it more of a mixed emotion? You love him and wanted him to stay on but don’t you want him to be happy? Now he’s happy.
He’s not gone off the planet forever, make him rich and famous, buy his records. I liked adorable Jason, I just didn’t think he was a good singer.

:sad: I can’t believe Jason went home. I absolutely loved him. he was my favorite. Syesha should have gone home a long time ago. It should have been an all boy top 3. I guess it was only a matter of time. The two david’s will be the top 2. So she will be gone next week.

I saw big box head lines on msn home page with the same story, they made it sound like a sealed deal, around 11 am.
Just a guess but my bet would be american Idol trys to hype the show by reaching out to all media sources with millions of dollars everywhere planting stories to promote the public to tune in to the show.:smile:
