Oh, tonight Cat is eye-lined heavily and wearing dark yellow (oh, would that be considered gold? mustard?) and WELCOME..to So You Think You Can Dance!

Group Dance! It’s to Charleston from Million Dollar Baby. This HAS to be Tyce, right? I think it may be. If not Tyce, then one of the newer choreographers I don’t know well. It’s really fun and set in a 20s? 30s? club. Really good with all the dancers and the All Stars. Cat is wheeled out on a bench by Neil and Adechike and it WAS Tyce. I knew it.

Hello to the jidges (which, by the way, I HATED Cat’s whole production of saying “JIDGES” last night. I totally didn’t blog it because it made me mad.) then we see some home vids of the Nappy Tabs dance for National Dance Day on July 31st.

Kent and Lauren are out to the stage with Cat first to learn their fates. Ashley is, of course, in the bottom 3 and Cat “tricks” them but both Kent and Lauren are SAFE!!

After commercials, we get the first of two special acts for tonight. From Mary Murphy’s Champion Ballroom Academy in LA, are two kids dancing to Jailhouse Rock by Elvis. They’re adorable and fabulous. Just like a couple of mini Benji and Laceys.

Cat calls out BeeLEE (as Cat says) and Adechike next. We see their last night recaps and Adechike is SAFE!! Billy is in the bottom! (sad!) Robert and Jose are last up. Oh how I love Robert and want him to stay! We’ll find out after the break.

Jamal Roberts and Rachel McClaren dance next as the 2nd of two special acts. Oh my, their bodies! I want a dancer’s body! It’s quite fantastic. After them, we get to watch Twitch and Comfort bring back their dance from their season to Chris Brown’s Forever.

Time for solo dances. Billy is first and as Cat says, he’s deliciously divine. Jose is the last solo and he’s good, but I think Billy should stay. (But I love Jose, too! It’s so hard!)

The jidges go out to deliberate and while they do, we get to watch and listen to Christina Perry singing Jar of Hearts. Stacey Tookey used her song for a routine a couple of weeks ago and since, her song has sold thousands on iTunes. A meteoric rise to fame, or so says Cat. Neil and Allison dance as she sings and it’s quite beautiful.

Time for results. Ashley is leaving as Nigel informs us that Ashley’s doctors have recommended 5 to 6 weeks of rest time for her injury. Sad. I liked her. Ashley cries and speaks of her time here and with that, she’s gone. And now Lauren is the last female dancing. Wow!
