Tonight we are off to Vegas as well as learning who will make the Top 20. Will your favorite make the cut? I will have the names and pictures of everyone in the Top 20 as soon as it is announced live.

Day One in Vegas the dancers learn a Hip Hop routine. Popper Robert from LA wanted to call it quits and before the dancers performed their routine Nigel called him on stage to show all the judges his solo routine from auditions. The judges don’t want him to quit but it didn’t sway his choice. He walks off the stage and heads home. At the end of day one only 129 dancers remain from over 200 that were sent to Vegas.
Day Two in Vegas and the dancers learn a Broadway routine. One of my favorites, Claire Calloway was sent home, other than that nothing spectacular. At lunch break 94 dancers were left.
After lunch on Day Two the dancers take on the Fox Trot. Another favorite of mine, Paige Davis is sent home. Damn they are booting all the hotties. At the end of Day Two the remaining dancers are put into groups and they are each given a CD and the group must choreograph a dance for the music on their CD by morning.
Day Three the contestants will perform their routine within their groups. Some were awful and some were good. We weren’t privy to all the performances of course. At lunch time and the completion of group songs only 4 people were cut.
After lunch on Day Three the remaining 68 dancers face Mia Michaels and a contemporary routine. 22 dancers bit the dust with the routine and we are now down to 46.
For the final step of Vegas the dancers will perform their solo routine for a chance at the Top 20.

Does anyone know what song was playing during the hip hop choreography in Vegas day 1 in episode 5? It is driving me crazy!
I was surprised to see a few go that I thought were good. And there are a couple who went through to the top twenty that I thought were just okay. But as time goes on, this show grows on you !

Oh, yeah..I forgot about the ‘pick a CD and choreograph as groups’ thing. Yay..I like this part. They start hating each other. hee hee
At least I’m not left pondering Mia Michaels’ hair this year.
I can not STAND miss pageant girl. I will refrain from saying what I want to say about her.
