As most of you know in the next couple of days we will welcome a new Idol fan into the world. If all goes well Mckenna Rae should be with us on Wednesday and that is the reason for this post.
I will be covering X Factor just like I do American Idol when it begins in 2 weeks. Everything on the blog will be the same. Expect audio, some video and all the info on each performance. I haven’t asked yet but I am going to fire an email sometime soon to the Queen and she if she will be watching. Maybe she will blog some results show. Fairly sure she will as long as Gag Gag or Lambert aren’t performing. I will also be co-hosting The Idol Radio Show with Alan during X Factor. So make sure to tune into that each week.
Survivor will be covered but only to the degree of posting who goes home each week. If anyone would like to LIVE blog each or any episode let me know and I will set ya up.
Dancing With The Stars won’t be covered at all. No post, no results, nothing. However if anyone would like to commit to blogging the season I would be more than happy to set them up. Let me know in a comment.
So You Think You Can Dance will still be covered when it is in season. Of course when I am posting you aren’t gonna get much more than who hit the tarmac but when Queen Angie blogs it is a whole lot of fun.
At the conclusion of Big Brother this season I will no longer be blogging the show. While it is simple to get the spoilers and draft the posts ahead of time I am tired of 3 posts a week times 2 months. Blah. Done with it.
Most likely I won’t be adding any new shows to the blog from here on out. I have my hands full with being a dad and The FarmvilleRant Radio Show stuff. Basically American Idol while it lasts, X Factor, Dance and Survivor.
I appreciate all the loyalty from my fans and friends over the years and hope many of you will continue to follow American Idol and hopefully X Factor here on the blog. Again many thanks to all of you.

Congratulations on the safe arrival of McKenna Rae this morning!
Thanks for the update on the future of IBL – this has been a fun home away from home, so to speak, with loads of quirky, funny, and cantankerous “regulars” that I regard as friends. As always I look forward to the new seasons as well as the comments and shouts in the box that follow.
thank you for your web site. I don’t always get to watch American Idol “live”… Choir practice runs late on Wednesday nights, quite often. And, this web site gives me a chance to catch up on what I missed. I can listen to the performances, view everyone’s opinions and get a “feel” for what I missed. Thank you, again. Best wishes.
So happy and excited for you guys and your new Bundle of Joy….It gets easier with the second and so on…it has been really fun watching your family grow over the years.. just make sure you are back for XFactor…what would we do without you??
