Maybe Danny’s fan base was too young to know how to use a phone? Believe me, his early dismissal was a shock to me. I had expected him to do at least as well as Sanjaya did last year. And to be honest, I’d rather have him in the Idol Tour than Cheezy. At least Danny would have added an element of humor to the tourr :em43:

Ah children it takes time to acquire taste. I didn’t want my kid to learn from him in anyway, that kid had no manners and was very rude to those he should be respecting and that have much more experience than him in the music business. With that attitude he will go no where. Can you imagine him popping off to the executives at a record label when he was told some thing didn’t sound right, or how about that hand gesture? He might have lasted a bit longer had he had a better attitude. He would have never made it to the top 5 as other contestants talent would have out shown his IMO. Danny knew how the judges are and that it was a contest when he auditioned, his Mom should have told him to take the criticism with class and walk off stage. If you don’t like the heat stay out of the oven. It is just a TV show designed to entertain and children should be told that prior to being allowed to watch it. If these kids are that upset maybe they shouldn’t be watching it.

Boy I’m not sure. Kristy’s the only “country” girl left in the competition. Her last performance didn’t impress me at all,…but I considered it a very poor song selection. I think she’ll bounce back next week

I’m surprised Danny didn’t last longer. At least Sanjaya went much deeper (7th?) in the competition. So, what’s America gonna do now that Danny’s no longer around to ridicule and kick around? Well, there’s always Cheezy and Amanda :em53:

No doubt. I doubt if a single blogger/commenter out here could stand the pressure these kids are under each week. The fact is that she should have been gone last week and Alaina should be in the top 12.
When it comes down to Danny and Cheezy…I’ll take Cheezy Poofs every time.
Kady never showed any personality (yep, I agree with Simon). She looks like the life of the party until it’s time to sing, then she puts on a “game face” and dares anyone, including herself, to enjoy the song.
While I don’t think Aisa’h had any chance of winning this thing, I do think she is much better than Amanda and should have stayed a couple of more weeks.
I’d like to trade away Cheezy and Michael for Alaina and Kady. Other than that….it’s an okay top 12. :em53:
I think Amanda should of went home instead of Asiah but i guess it was the song choices

Yes Jeff, boy do I wish they had a different type of voting for AI. On DWTS the judges have 50% of the vote to the end. Your idea of voting someone off instead of for your favorites, is a good one, but as someone else said, then AI couldn’t say that millions of people voted. Sponsers like the big numbers.

I think America got it pretty much right. I agree it should have been Amanda (who looks underwhelmed lately), instead of Kady or Ashia who I really liked. I cheered out loud when Danny was voted off. He was as nauseating to me as Paula’s behavior. :em75:

Had Amanda been eliminated instead of Aisa’h, America would have gotten it right.
Tanning Lotion and ABB are right, Kady’s outfit was horrible. Not only did she look pregnant, but that pattern on her top looked like a giant pigeon splatter!
Someone made the comment that the wardrobe choices really stink so far this year and I couldn’t agree more. I think Paula has sent her wardrobe consultant in to help all of the contestants.

An in-between choice would have been good. The only kickoff I disagree with is Kady. It should have been Amanda, VFTW’s cHOice. Then again, I still think the voting public deserve a big kick in the butt for letting Alaina get eliminated. :em41: :em58:
