Agree completely, Ben. While I like the idea of more Madonna songs being used on Glee, it needs to fit the plot well. Don’t write the show to fit the songs!
I also agree, of course, per my previous comments, that Tim would do just fine on Glee.
Tim is easily a talented enough singer – I think people forget how much harder it is to sound good live than it is to sound good as aprt of an ensemble like Glee (where you can have several studio takes and autotune to help you out!) just listening to a couple of Tim’s studios is enough to convince me he could do Glee just fine.
It might not be the best approach from Glee though… I already fear a bit for the integrity of the show with them talking ‘Madonna Part 2′ etc. The plot is more important that the gimmick. If Tim was to be on Glee, he would need to be introduced in a way that made you invest in the character, not in the Turban.
I hope Tim acts or sings on a professional level. You know the kind where you endeavor to continually improve your skill . Whether a singer or actor or both, just go pro. These people that go from reality show to reality show and make a career with absolutely no talent bore me to tears. Don’t go that route Tim, you have got more going for you then that! :wink:
I agree, Angie, I never thought Finn was really that great a singer to be the lead. Kurt sounds better, unfortunately more like a girl though (but after all he is an honorary member of the girl’s club). The new guy, Jesse, sounds more like a lead singer (but very Broadway).
I think he’d be great! The Finn character isn’t that great of a singer, anyway. Tim could hold his own. Such a great smile! How fun to have an idol on Glee!
Only if he gets a haircut first. Let’s see, who’s love interest could he be? If they suggested that he be a love interest for Kurt, I’d bet that he would refuse.
