I only really watched this season of Idol to see Siobahn and Crystal. I used to skip through most of the other performances. I agree with other comments about this years contestents being a lower standard than previous.
Casey was ok, but his performances reently have been boring. I think the right decision was made.
I think Crystal will definately win now. But I guess anything can happen with the voting.
i sort of hope she doesn’t actually as the runner up seems to do better in their career than the winner. I guess they have more freedom to take up offers rather than being stuck in a contract and having to sing some crap single that is written for the show and never does well on the charts.
I think Siobahn will have a great career too.
Why do we have to compare them to previous winners at all?? I enjoy each season for who the contestants are, not how they may or may not be similar to past seasons. Just wondering…

I would say Lee is Cook (not based on vocals, just based on position), while Archuleta is Crystal… granted, everyone who have seen my post know what I think of Lee, especially compared to Crystal, and that contradicts what I think about Cook and Archuleta, basically, I think Crystal is a better singer than Lee, but I think Cook is a better singer than Archuleta, so really, it’s all confusing.
Plus, people can make the relation of Cook to Crystal as early favorite, because as time went on, I noticed the judges slowly were praising Cook less, while increasing in pimping for Archuleta… so really, it’s anyones guess. I think you can look at it in any sort of combination.

This has been the weakest season to date. And the 2 remaining reflect that. They are the strongest of the weak. But most other seasons I doubt they’d have made the top 5.
It was Casey’s time to go, but I don’t know how in the heck Lee made it to the finale. Don’t. Get. Him.
America got it wrong when Siobhan went home but Idol has what it wanted. Krookie (Kris/Cookie bastard child) v. Artist/Indie woman. I expect that Lee will win – undeserved but so it goes. However, Maybe I Will Be Amazed.
