With Christmas only a couple of days away I figured instead of the normal Caption This Post you could take the presents wrapped below, pretend they are yours and leave a comment with what you think they may be off from your Christmas list.
I got my Xmas gift when slim, missy and gracie lee were all o.k. after their upside down roller coaster ride. They truely had a guardian angel in the car with them
Oh, look! There’s a Michael Johns calendar! And that one has a t-shirt worn by Michael Johns! OOOH…and that one has a letter from Michael Johns with cookies he made with his own little hands. Oh, oh! That one has a Jason Castro dred that fell off his head. (EW, but it can be put in a shadow box or something and displayed in my American Idol room in my brand new million dollar home…) Wait…that other one has Chris Daughtry’s guyliner (only used once!) and the one next to it has one of Taylor’s signature jackets…complete with a back sweat stain. (I have no shame.) One more from Michael Johns…a demo tape of his upcoming album for MY ears only. There’s an extremely expensive DSLR camera in that one over there and the one next to it has one of those “open hearts” necklaces from Kay jewelery and finally that last one is filled to the brim in chocolate!
 oops! I meant Crock not drock. What the heck is a drock anyway????? :dizzy:
Definition of a “drock” = A water course. my gift to you Doc.
Counter-top kitchen tool holder (kind of like a ceramic vase to put your spatulas and stuff in),
There’s a moast adorable drock at Williams-Sonoma. They also have some really nice cookware! I had two tool crocks back in the day. Both of them Marshall Pottery from Texas.
With all our shopping pretty much done and my wife and I having exchanged gifts already, personally I can only guess a couple of things I usually get from others, Cuban cigars and blackberry brandy from 2 of my brother in laws. House slippers and a dress tie, sports ball cap and sweat shirt with Tenn. Vols or Titans on it. But most importantly a house full of love, laughter, good food ,fun, and fond memories.
I’m like Amy. Didn’t ask for anything this year. I had a couple people literally PRY an idea or two out of me, but I really don’t want anything. That sounds cliche, but I honestly don’t. The only things I could think of were kitchen items. I know – how boring. Looks like there are 10 boxes, so here goes:
Hand Mixer (mine was my Mom’s in the 70′s … really!!), Counter-top kitchen tool holder (kind of like a ceramic vase to put your spatulas and stuff in), Corningware glass bakeware set with lids, Bambo chopping board & chopping mat set (saw it at Costco), Silpats (rubbery cookie sheet protecter thingies), New set of pots and pans (if I want to go for broke!)
Ok, that’s only 6 things. Go ahead and put some jewelry in a couple boxes, and chocolate in the rest. Sounds good.
I didn’t ask for anything this year, but I’m pretty sure that 3 of those packages contain fabric from my favorite quilt shop (because the kid walked in the house with the store’s rather noticeable bag, duh!). I have no idea what could be in the other boxes.
What do I wish was in there? I really can’t think of anything.
the red box with gold ribbon is my new external hard drive with the biggest memory possible. and all the remaining boxes are filled with chocolates! yay! :w00t: :silly:
Okay, the big blue box is my new game system. The smaller blue box is a rack of new games. The light gray box is my new flatscreen for my game system. The brown envelope is my Playmate calendar for 2009. The blue cylinder si mixed nuts without salt from Harry and David. The red box in front is argyle sox. the little red box on the right is a coffe grinder with whole beans. the box behind the red ones is a t-shirt with a sarcastic saying on it. That leaves the last box which is my autographed photocube of Haley Scarnato.
I hope “Peace on Earth” is in one of those packages and our boys and girls in Iraq can come home.
All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth!

Pieces of a new car :)
I am imagining those are BIG boxes. We could really use a computer desk and 2 night stands. They are in those boxes , assembly is required.
